Bus Service for Maltby

I am a commuter to Bellevue. My office is two blocks from the Bellevue bus center. However, for me to get there, it is a 15-20 minute drive to a park and ride lot. To get to my office, it is about a 20-25 minute drive. Not only do I not save any time (not expected) but I don't save any fuel/wear and tear on my car. So, for me, the bus service really needs to focus on commuters.

So the only changes I see for the new bus service is our sales tax in the Maltby area will rise from 7.6% to 8.5% and we will have loud polluting buses driving up and down our streets that don't go to the places we go.

I do have a question for anyone to answer. On Nov.4th do the people in the whole county get to vote on this or is it just the people who live inside the expanded route area?

I have not seen any of the proposed bus routes. Is that information posted someplace?

As to the voting, I don't know the answer to that one.
