You may have noticed the traffic counters on SR 522, Yew Way, and, I think, SR 524. I contacted David Edwards who is listed as the WSDOT Project Engineer on the Paradise Lake Road/SR 522 Interchange Project to find out why the counters are there. He said they were just checking the traffic volumes on SR 522 to see if they have changed since the last count was done a few years ago. WSDOT does this on regular basis around the area to monitor the traffic volumes to see if they are increasing and where.
So, it appears no new movement on the Interchange.
